Reproduction Coated WWII German Enigma machine hollow Input Board

For sale is a 1:1 scale, Black Diamond texture powder coated, hollowed-out reproduction of the Enigma machine input board. This keyboard is made of machined 6061-T6 aluminum. As per Enigma machine blueprints the input board contains 26 x 6.2 mm thru-and-thru holes for the insertion of key stems for your functional keys, and 5 x 4.2 mm thru-and-thru countersunk holes for metric screws. While original Enigma keyboards had six holes in the front for the attachment of the patch panel, I’ve elected to use four slots that align with the holes in the patch panels I currently sell. Like the original there are nine holes in the back underside of the keyboard used as attaching points for the springs that kept the nine long, upper tier keys in the upright position. The last picture clearly shows nine original Enigma long keys and the nine attachment holes for the springs. Since this keyboard is already black powder coated it is more expensive than the other, in the white aluminum uncoated keyboard I sell.
